Mi Mi MI has been really good with her housetraining; she’s playful and knows to sit and come (although she’s a little selective with the second one). She rides nicely in the car, is good for her bath and has a wonderful appetite.
She just rolled over on her back and smiled a self satisfied smirk when the nurses stopped by to check on her. Be aware that you will be asked to drive to meet and pick up your dog. Adoption donations generally vary from dog to dog, it depends on the health, the age and the size of the dog. We almost NEVER get a puppy in Yorkie Rescue. If only a puppy will do, check the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America website for a recommended breeder – never buy over the Internet, or from a newspaper ad or a petstore. She doesn’t even mind if the toys don’t squeak anymore, as long as she can toss them in the air…that’s just fine with her. We were worried about her having surgery, but Mi Mi Mi had her own agenda. Even while in the hospital – belly rubs for all!
If you are gone for more than 3 hours at a time, the dog will have to have access to wee wee pads, or need someone to stop in to let him out to potty. Is a 501 qualified non-profit organization operating on donations from Yorkie lovers who care. Please help by donating your tax deductible donations. She just whispered in our ear – She would love a little buddy to play with – as long as her new sister or brother doesn’t mind sharing the toys, or maybe surrendering them altogether.
Yorkies do not usually get along well with small children and can be injured by small children, even ones who love them. Be aware of this and keep them apart. Yorkies can be very difficult to housebreak.
