Founded in October 2005, Sue Fisher together with Sharon Henson started this rescue organization in Colorado Springs. Their adoption regulations strictly include a home visit so they do not allow people to adopt for others or cater to aspiring Chihuahua parents from outside the states listed above. Since its establishment in 2006, Small Miracles Rescue has saved and rehomed more than 12,000 cats and over 7,000 dogs since they extended their helping hands to dogs in late 2011.
