ABOUT US

Rabbit rescue
Tiny Paws Small Animal Rescue is a volunteer run, foster based rescue with locations in Windsor, On. We were established in May of 2014. We rescue, re-home, advocate and provide education for domestic rabbits and guinea pigs. We are foster based and do not have a physical shelter.  If you can help us by fostering please fill out our online foster application.

As of July 2016 we have joined forces with Toronto Rabbit Rescue.  By working together we can help to rescue and rehome many more rabbits in need.

All of our rabbits will be spayed or neutered before adoption. We also treat all medical concerns with our wonderful Veterinarians at Parkway Small Animal and Exotic Hospital in Michigan. We strive to find the best suitable homes for all of our rescue animals. We are a no kill rescue. We do not euthanize due to time spent with us or behavioral issues. All of the rescue animals stay with us until they find their forever home. Through an interview process we are able to determine the perfect family for our animals. Once an application has been approved we then educate the new family on the proper care needed to make their new family member happy and healthy.

All of our animals that come to us are rescue animals each with their own stories and backgrounds. Therefore, we believe their next move should be with their forever family. We also have sanctuary rescues which are unadoptable due to age and or health issues. They are lovingly cared for in our wonderful foster homes. We do not receive any government support and rely on fundraising to continue our efforts to help rabbits and guinea pigs in need. Please consider visiting our donation page and helping us with our efforts.

*NOTE WE ARE NOT ABLE TO HELP WITH WILD COTTONTAIL RABBITS. PLEASE CALL YOUR LOCAL WILDLIFE REHAB CENTER.  THANK YOU!
